The IMPACT project is designed to enhance higher education by incorporating Learning Analytics for text analysis across the student lifecycle. It provides prospective, new, and current students with highly personalized, text-based feedback both during their studies and at their completion. This approach supports individual learning goals and self-regulation strategies, while also reducing instructor workload and encouraging engagement with feedback. Implemented at five German universities, the project employs chatbots and personalized feedback systems for both formative and summative assessment. It follows the SHEILA change management process model, ensuring integration with higher education’s existing learning management, online study choice assistants, and assessment systems. Media-didactic adaptations are specifically crafted to effectively integrate Learning Analytics. A data-ethical framework governs the project, facilitating ongoing, evidence-based dialogue with educators and students. Results are disseminated nationally through workshops and aligned with Open Science principles, promoting widespread access and utilization.
